We found Lit Cabs as an innovative and challenging business to work with as it was aiming to disrupt the OOH advertising industry in Mumbai and change the paradigm of the traditional Kaali Peeli taxis in Mumbai forever. Our mission was to give them an effective brand identity and design digital campaigns to market their offerings.

India’s first ever Kaali-Peeli taxi roof-top OOH advertising, LitCabs was an original, pioneering concept that needed ample awareness in the advertising world. First of all,the brand identity and guidelines needed to be devised; the brand logo had to be designed keeping the business offering and capturing the essence of Mumbai’s traditional taxis in mind. Building their website word by word, pixel by pixel was also one of our top priorities. To promote their offerings we resolved to to direct our marketing mainly towards business to business as the nature of the product demanded so. Therefore, we identified Linkedin as our most important marketing platform to reach out to advertisers looking for newer, cost-effective means of OOH advertising. We also included Twitter as a part of the campaign since the platform is used vastly by marketing professionals for real-time news and hyper local trends.

After much consideration, we unanimously agreed to keep the essence of Taxi-cabs on the logo. Elements of black and yellow, the identifying colours of Mumbai’s Kaali-Peeli cabs were incorporated on a template that symbolized the advertising panel. With a carefully picked colour scheme; concise, informative and gripping copy; vividly descriptive videos and images; and industry relevant articles, the website was launched. Apart from constant social media activity with info-graphics and curiosity-arousing copy, we also reached out to advertisers through LinkedIn in-mails. Innovative contests, relatable blogs, hyper-current posts, LitCabs soon saw the launch that and permanently made home in the minds of the media planners of Mumbai.

With an impressive response to our well-thought-out LinkedIn integrated marketing campaign, we kept on maintaining an informative interaction and nurturing business relations with or audience. We were also tasked with efficiently optimizing their website for Google search. Here we deployed SEO strategies that brought exponential growth in user traffic and search rankings. We were prompt enough to inform LitCab’s audience whenever they partnered with a noteworthy brand such as Bumble, MTV, . From World Heritage Day to Sri Lanka bombings, we made sure that LitCabs, being projected as the lifeline of a busy city like Mumbai, holds a voice on all hyper current topics.
